The memorable childhood of the nineties

90's Memory

After passing many years of life. I wish to go back to my childhood and this wish is more or less everyone’s. Nowadays it can be said that emotions have decreased among people. The reason can be said that technology, the use of mobile phones and other things are slowly making people desensitized. The cordial sweet relationships of the family are being lost due to some mixed reasons.
It is a strange time, but today’s matter is not a serious matter. Rather, I will talk about some simple and vivid memories of the childhood of the 90s. That one will get lost in the story, one will not want to get back or one will say regretfully that he is not familiar with the things.

If one rupee is divided into four, it is twenty five paisa and that 25 paisa equals 1 lozenges. The lozenges were wrapped on both sides of the red, green, white, blue packet. The parents of the house used to buy these lozenges from the market for the children of the house and they would hand them one by two.
In those days, the friendly hearts of the elders and the children may not match the chocolates worth a hundred bucks today.
And only those who spent their childhood in the 90s know what feelings were hidden in these twenty-five paisa chocolates. Now there are different types of chewing gum available in many different flavors but have you ever eaten banana flavored chewing gum! Of course, the one I’m talking about was the popular and readily available chewing gum of the 90s.
The chewing gum that was dead in the yellow color packet of a very ripe banana, in which there were five pieces of chewing gum that were thin and a little long. The chewing gum is still there but maybe not the banana flavored chewing gum of the 90s.

As in the case of some, the person who buys the chewing gum is lost. It may be father, brother or grandfather or grandmother.

This is how the favorite childhood memories of childhood are slowly lost! Hawai sweets are now available for money. But at one time old bottles, hair, tin cans, iron and wood could be obtained in exchange.
Paper round Hawaiian sweets in a tin. That memory probably still makes some people nostalgic. The childhood of the 90s was throughout. Another sweet memory is ice cream in different colors for one taka.
The feeling of running behind hearing the bell of the ice-cream parlor cannot be compared with the feeling of buying thousands of rupees of ice cream today. Only those who spent their childhood in the 90s will understand better.

Nowadays, kids don’t even think about toys costing thousands of rupees whereas in the 90s, a 5 to 10 rupee yo-yo toy was very expensive for kids. If we could somehow buy it from the store, everyone would eat it together. As the toy changes hands like this from his hands to hers. The toy is occupying a big place of emotions unknowingly.

Besides, whether it was Eid or fair, boys had to buy a tin pistol worth 10 taka. And the scene of playing Latim marbles in groups is not so visible anymore.
Glasses, watches, bracelets made of coconut leaves were the main attraction for kids in the 90s. The toy making festival has gone to enjoy the breeze in the fields or on the banks of the pond. Kids these days are glued to YouTube all day, but what a great childhood scene.

what a dream come true with a 90s talent hunt show called New Buds. The program is lost along with the childhood of the golden past. I would like to say one thing that if Aladdin’s path was similar.  Then many people would want to go back to their childhood in the 90s. The past is not really possible to get back, but if such a childhood could be given to the present. Future generations by freeing them from the shackles of modernity, then perhaps the youth and their philosophy would change.
